About Joshua:

I grew up in the country on a dairy farm in the rural community of Melcher-Dallas, Iowa. In high school I was a captain of the basketball team and helped lead the team to a conference title. I graduated from Iowa State University in 2008 with a degree in Business Marketing — by the way I bleed cardinal and gold! I chose Des Moines because I loved the local music scene, Gray’s Lake, all the amazing restaurants, and basically just wanted to be part of the growing city — and Des Moines hasn’t disappointed! Recently my family chose to make the move to Carlisle area. The move brought us closer to family while still having easy access to everything around Des Moines! When I’ve got down time, I enjoy binging on TV series, enjoying the local trails, and spending time with my wife and kid!
